For over two decades CrestWood’s Kitty Garvey and Diane Kent have served the Glendora Public Library in various jobs through the library’s Friends Foundation. Most notably their leadership with the Libraries largest annual fundraiser, Night on the Plaza, raising over $3,500,000 in the past decade.

Through volunteerism and financial support, the Friends Foundation partners with the City of Glendora to broaden the scope of services provided by local tax revenues. Additionally, the Friends Foundation provides ongoing support for the library’s information technology and youth reading services, as well as community education programs that take books and library services out into the community.
