The Thirst Project

The Thirst Project

The Thirst Project is a nonprofit organization that works with the support of young people to end the global water crisis by building fresh water wells in developing communities that need safe, clean drinking water. CrestWood Communities was introduced to the Thirst Project in 2013 by their 4th Generation, Chelsie Kent, who was heavily involved in her high school club. In April 2013, CrestWood teamed up with Chelsie and The Thirst project to raise awareness and money for a well in Swaziland, South Africa. After raising $12,000, Chelsie then traveled to Swaziland with the Thirst Project team in December of 2013 to build wells and visit the communities they help. Below are photos of the well CrestWood and Chelsie built as well as the community it serves.
